Older headlights often become so dim that it's hard to see to drive at night. Typically, this has nothing to do with the bulb and everything to do with the lenses being cloudy and scratched. Since it can be expensive replacing the headlights, many people attempt a DIY fix and it often works. Here are a couple of things you may want to try.
- Place some toothpaste on a damp cloth and scrub the headlight lenses with this before wiping it off.
- Purchase a headlight cleaning kit from an automotive supply store and follow the instructions.
